The last tab is simply the color palette used. One is a plain scaffolding of a statblock along with comments. One is an example monster which appears in the SRD (Cloaker). Note that there are 3 tabs in the workbook. Since Google Docs works, I'm less inclined to do so unless I see a large number of requests.

  • I may or may not update for Open Office in the future.
  • Reddit user Shylocv has indicated that it did not work in Open Office, but does work in Google Docs.
  • It would probably work fine with recent earlier versions, but I have not tested that.

    The Excel version used when creating this for template was 2016 (part of Office 365).The sample creature is found in the Wizards of the Coast SRD. The TGB font is used only in the creature name top line.

    Other fonts were mentioned in that template, but after testing, I found that plain old Arial worked just fine and ends up printing better. This template uses the Tex-Gyer-Bonum (TGB) free font mentioned in the official Adventure Template ( /product/170830/DMs-Guild-Creator-Resource-Adventure-Template?src=newest&filters=0_0_45476_0_0_0 ). I began this project for myself, but figured that I might as well also make it easier for other people to generate their own stat-blocks. This is an Excel template for single-column monster stat-blocks.
